Everything we see today started by an idea expressed. It is written that the power behind creation started with words. They contain the fuel to make moves around this world.
If we believe we were created in the image of God, it should be easy to consider what type of power our speech and emotions hold as it pertains to collective and even personal realities.
Scripture gives us plenty of metaphors concerning our nature. We are creators. Our words matter and we can make changes toward our success by speaking on what we do want instead of griping about what we don’t.
The Word is God.
“(as it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” Romans 4:17
“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Hebrews 11:3
“but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence.” 1 Corinthians 1:27-29
