Prayer tends to be in place for the person making a request. It builds faith in the power of God.
One frustrating day of evangelism, I decided I would do a general prayer that Gods will save everyone who I have ever met or even thought of. That request grew to wanting it for the whole world. I believed God could and would do what I desired in my heart for the people. It was my belief that anything we ask in the will of God will be granted to us with no exception.
This request came from a place of thinking the world was lost outside of the church. But boy did God show me. The world is already safe but everyone wasn’t aware. The church carried the mentality that we are in danger therefore creating the danger.
It is time to realize our power and pray for better days for the whole world.
“You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you. If people are in trouble and you say, ‘Help them,’ God will save them.” Job 22:28-29
